Greetings!

  My name is Ron Strickland. I am the President of the Pikes Peak Bassmasters. I would like to thank you for your interest in our club.

  The Pikes Peak Bassmasters club was formed in 1985 with the main purpose of promoting bass fishing as a sport here in Colorado. Since our formation we have helped hundreds' of our members to become better competitive bass anglers. This club gives anglers the opportunity to compete in bass tournaments that are informative, affordable and most of all.... fun!

  The Pikes Peak Bassmasters welcome all fishing enthusiasts who are at least 16 years old and have an interest in learning how to catch bass! You do not have to be an expert and you do not need a boat. You only need to have "a desire to learn the art of bass fishing!"

  For the more experienced bass anglers who are looking for a challenge, we can accommodate you too. The Pikes Peak Bassmasters have some of the "best bass fishermen in the West" and some have gone to compete at the highest bass fishing events! 

  Our tournament schedules are designed to visit “in-state” and “out-of-state” lakes every season. On average, our in-state tournaments are a “one day” event, and the out-of-state tournaments are “two day” events with an overnight stay.  The tournaments are a Pro/Am format, which means “Boaters compete against Boaters” and “Co-Anglers compete against Co-Anglers.” This format keeps our events very fair for all competitors.
